The CCM Tacks 9060 Shin Guards have some solid features and protection at an affordable price. The knee cap utilizes JDP Cap construction to dissipate impact energy away from the joint while the ribbed shell deflects impact energy away from the leg. To protect players from slashes and blocked shots compressed molded exposed foam and plastic insert guard the back of the calf.
A new feature introduced into the 9060 is an adjustable 3" elastic calf strap. Players can fine tune the strap to their leg so they can achieve the perfect lock and comfort. A 1" nylon knee strap with quick release tab finishes locking in the leg to the comfortable moisture-wicking microfiber liner. The liner itself can be removed to reduce drying time and has a cut out knee for added comfort and fit.
